Skaters
The Sac City Rollers currently have around 45 active and fully-fledged skaters, over 60 skaters in training, and nearly 30 Junior girls, and are always looking to add more skaters to the rosters.
The Sac City Rollers compete nearly every month against teams from all along the Pacific coast, and hold regular Intraleague bouts with the Rude Girls squaring facing off against the Sweaty Betties. These competitions are usually the most fiercely fought matches of the season.
As proof that Roller Derby is a real sport with real risk, we present the breaks, bruises, cuts and abrasions that our skaters wear as badges of honor.
Every sport has its rules, and our referees work very hard not only to enforce those rules, but to ensure that competitions are as safe as possible. They're the unsung heroes in the world of Roller Derby.
