Look out, 2012! The Sac City Rollers are back!

January 15, 2012

The Sac City Rollers are back and ready to kick off the 2012 season at The Big O Tournament hosted by the Emerald City Roller Girls and the Derby Deeds podcast! This event in Springfield, Oregon features three days of bouting between WFTDA and WFTDA Apprentice leagues from all over the West Coast and as far away as Washington, DC! Cheer on SCR’s Capital Punishers as they face off against the Pikes Peak Derby Dames and the Sick Town Derby Dames.

In other big news for 2012, it looks like the Sweaty Betties and the Rude Girls have some new competition… The Sac City Rollers are proud to present their third Intraleague team: the Notorious Knockouts! Join us at our season opener on Friday, March 2nd as the Knockouts debut against both the Sweaty Betties and the Rude Girls in a round-robin of hard-hitting roller derby action! Will the Knockouts prove to be serious contenders? Don’t miss it! Tickets go on sale soon!
